The Law of Repetition
The Law of Repetition | Genesis 41
Why does the Bible repeat certain words and themes over and over again?
In Genesis 39–41, the life of Joseph reveals a powerful biblical principle known as the Law of Repetition. Through Joseph’s journey—from the pit, to the prison, to the palace—we see three words echoed throughout the story: With. Remember. Favor.
Even in betrayal, injustice, and years of waiting, God was with Joseph.
When others forgot him, God remembered him.
And in God’s perfect timing, God’s favor elevated him from prisoner to ruler in Egypt.
Joseph’s story reminds us that God is always working—even in seasons that feel forgotten or unfair.
📖 In this message, Pastor Zach explores how the repetition in Scripture highlights what matters most and how these same truths apply to our lives today.
