The Wrath of God Revealed | Romans 1:18–32

In this message, we step into one of the most sobering passages in all of Scripture—where Paul begins to unfold the reality behind our need for the gospel.

Before we can understand the power of salvation, we must first understand the problem.

Paul shows us that humanity doesn’t lack knowledge of God—we suppress it. We exchange truth for lies, worship created things instead of the Creator, and drift further from Him as a result.

And in response?

God gives people over to what they want.

This passage answers a deeper question many of us wrestle with:

Why does the world feel so broken—and why do people seem unable to change?

Because apart from Christ, we are not just struggling… we are enslaved.

But this is not where the story ends.

The same letter that reveals the wrath of God also reveals the power of the gospel—able to rescue, restore, and redeem anyone who believes.

If sin is deeper than we thought, then grace is greater than we imagined.
